Ginger Lime Vinaigrette


Ingredients:
. 3/4 cup olive oil
. an inch long chunk of ginger
. 2 tbsp honey
. 1/2 tbsp Chinese mustard
. 1/2 cup lime juice
. 4 tbsp dry white wine
. 3 tbsp regular vinegar
. salt to taste
. 1/2 tbsp fresh ground black pepper

Blend all these ingredients together and store in a clean dry container in the fridge. It can be stored for over a month as long as you make sure to get no water in it. I found a gorgeous green glass beer bottle to store it in.

It also brings about relief of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Gingerols, the main active components in ginger may inhibit the growth of human colorectal cancer cells and are known to kill ovarian cancer cells.
