Buttermilk garlic biscuits



1/4 cup corn flour
1/4 cup flax meal
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking pwd
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup olive oil
3 tbsp melted garlic butter:
I used Papa John's garlic butter that comes with the pizza. You could even use fresh garlic finely diced, mixed in with butter and then melt it.
1 tsp salt

Mix everything, bind well till you see no left over flour in the container.
Scoop into greased muffin trays and bake for 15-20mins at 400F till they are golden brown. The above quantities will make 10 muffins.

We had them warm with butter and homemade fig jam.

Sounds delicious, and love the pictures of all these items! Sounds a bit complicated for me to make, will have to come to visit you for this one!

These biscuits have good shelf life too. We just finished the last one today, about a week since I made them and they were still fresh and tasty. Wonderful with morning coffee.
