Mushroom, peas & pepper



Ingredients:
1/2 green bell pepper
1/2 cup frozen peas
About 10 mushroom
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp turmeric pwd
1-2 tsp red chilly pwd
1 tsp coriander pwd
1 tsp garam masala (indian all-spice: Mine is homemade by mom, hence more potent, but the store bought ones are milder and you can use about 2 tsp)
1 tsp dry lemon pwd (got mine from Kuwait, not sure when you'd find it here, you can substitute with dry mango pwd for the tangy flavor which you'll find in an Indian store)
pinch of asafoetida (again Indian store)
oil, salt, yogurt

Take 2 tbsp of oil, add in cumin seeds, asafeotida and all other spices, then the vegetables and saute them for 7-8 minutes. Now add 2-3 tbsp of plain yogurt (I make mine at home so its more watered and tart). Mix everything and lid to cook for another 5-7minutes.

You can have the vegetable mix with roti, or on a toast, or as a wrap in a tortilla with lettuce, tomatoes and onion.
